This session will give an overview of the catalog cycle at Cal Poly including the curriculum review process and the Curriculum Management system. Getting the best use out of materials such as the Curriculum Handbook will also be discussed.

Read All About It! - Emails from the Office of the Registrar
Join us for a roundtable discussion of the email communications the Office of the Registrar sends to students and campus. We will show attendees how to access the details of each email communication and important timelines. We will review a few examples of our recent email communications. Some examples include information on credit/no credit, red lists, and Poly Planner deadlines. We will ask for feedback on how the Office of the Registrar can improve our email communication. How does our communication affect your campus department, advising center and students?

Striving for a Seamless Transition: Articulation and Transfer Credit
We'll dive in and look at the importance of course articulation and how credits transfer from California Community Colleges, Out of State institutions and beyond.

Data is Our Friend - Using Dashboards for Student and Course Data
We'll help demystify the Enrollment Management Dashboards - what information can be gathered, where the data comes from and who to reach out to with questions.

*Helping Students with Enrollment - What Do Those Error Messages Mean?
We'll cover what frequent errors students may encounter during the registration process and whom to contact, from both the staff and student perspective. We'll review high-level steps associated with troubleshooting topics such as waitlisting, permission numbers, and reserve capacities. We'll also provide resources that can be contacted for additional assistance.

Life Cycle of the Class Schedule - Planning, Proofing and Reporting
Are you involved with the academic class schedule? This session will give an overview of the Planning, Proofing and Reporting phases. We'll provide insight into the flow of information between University Scheduling and the department office and be ready to answer any questions you may have.

Degree Progress Report and Expected Academic Progress
This session is intended for those who have access to the DPR and who advise students. It will give an overview of the DPR, used by the Registrar's Office to track progress to degree as well as for final graduation evaluations. We'll explain the benefits of using the DPR and its limitations.

Get a Room - Using 25Live to Find Locations for an Event or Meeting
25Live is the university's space management system. We'll give you an overview of how to check room availability as well as how to determine the layout and features of various rooms on campus. We'll also cover how to submit a request to the Office of the Registrar.

Let's Get Technical - Understanding Courses and Classes in PeopleSoft
Join us for a high-level training on how to view the Catalog and Schedule of Classes information in PeopleSoft and what the main touch points are in terms of student's planning their schedule and the registration process.

Welcome to the Block Party - Block Scheduling First-Time Freshmen
A high-level overview of the block scheduling process. We'll explain the differences in the process for winter and spring compared to fall, the role of department schedulers, how to find answers to many questions, and how seats are reserved for freshmen and transfers.
