Class Cancellation

Students may be dropped from all enrolled classes if Registration Fees are not paid by deadline (excludes Financial Aid and certain other student groups). Please visit Student Accounts Office for more information.

Spring 2027: 15 Week Session

October 5 Monday Class Schedule available for Spring 2027 available in Schedule Builder and Class Search
October 19 Monday Registration opens for registration appointment rotations ( for continuing students). Students can enroll up to 15 units and waitlist up to 12 units.
November 17 Tuesday End of Registration appointments for continuing students
November 18 Wednesday
  • Open Enrollment begins (12:00 a.m.)
  • Enrollment unit limit increases to 18.
  • PBACs remain at 15 unit limit.
  • Waitlist remains at 12 units. (Students need to submit an excess unit petiton form if they wish to enroll in more than 18 units). 
January 18 Monday Academic Holiday - Martin Luther King Jr. Day Observed
January 22 Friday Open Enrollment ends
January 25 Monday

Spring 2027 Classes Begin

  • Students can continue to enroll in open classes or add themselves to waitlists without permission numbers.
  • Wailtlist process runs twice a day (noon and evening) to enroll students from waitlists if seats open up.
January 29 Friday
  • Last day to enroll in open classes without a permission number
  • Waitlist process runs for the last time this evening (11:59 p.m.)
February 1 Monday Students can enroll only with a permission number (11:59 p.m.)
February 5 Friday Last day to drop classes (11:59 p.m.)
February 12 Friday

Deadlines:

  • Last day to add or swap classes via Student Center with a permission number (11:59 p.m.)
  • Last day to submit class audit petition to the Office of the Registrar (5:00 p.m.).  
  • Last day to log in and adjust your Degree Planner to ensure that your planned courses are included in course demand data.
February 15 Monday Academic Holiday - President's Day Observed
February 16 Tuesday Late Enrollment Appeal period begins
February 22 Friday
  • Late Enrollment Appeal period ends (5:00 p.m.)
  • Class Schedule for Summer 2027 is available in Scheduler Builder and Class Search. 
April 23 Friday

Deadlines: 

  • Twenty Percent of instruction remaining.
  • Last day to withdraw from course(s) for serious and compelling reason (5:00 pm).
  • Last day to select or change CR/NC grading via Student Center(11:59 p.m.)
  • Before changing your grading option, please review the information and speak to your advisor.
May 14 Friday Deadlines:
  • Last day of instruction. Last day to withdraw from course(s) for reasons beyond your control  (5:00 p.m.).
  • Last day to submit paperwork for Cal Poly coursework (substitutions, concentration declarations, ICS statements, etc.) and transcripts (from other colleges) in order to affect Academic Progress level for registration for Fall 2027 (received in the Office of the Registrar by 5:00 p.m.).
May 15, 17-21 Saturday, Monday - Friday Spring 2027 Final Exams
May 28 Friday
  • Degree Posting Process Begins
    The actual degree conferral date is 5/25/27.
  • All grades finalized
    (GPAs and repeat courses processed)
