Summer 2027 Planning Calendar

• Student Center opens for registration appointments.
• Students can enroll in 15 units and waitlist for 12 units.
• Student Center closes for maintenance on Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. to midnight.

• Open Enrollment begins (12:00 a.m.)
• Enrollment limit increases to 20 units. Waitlist remains at 12 units.
• PBACs remain at  unit 15 unit limit. (Students need to submit an excess unit petiton form if they wish to enroll in more than the prescribed unit limit). Forms page.

• Waitlist process runs for the last time in the morning.
• Open Enrollment Ends

Summer 2027 Classes Begin

• Students only allowed to enroll with a permission number

Deadlines:

• Last day to: Add, swap or edit variable units for classes via Student Center with a permission number (11:59 p.m.)
• Last day to drop classes via Student Center (11:59 p.m.)
• Last day to  submit approved Petition to Audit Course to the Office of the Registrar (5:00 p.m). 

Deadlines: 

• Twenty Percent of instruction remaining.
• Last day to withdraw from course(s) for serious and compelling reason (5:00 pm).
  * Before changing your grading option, please review the information and speak to your advisor.
• Last day to notify instructors of a final examination overload (three or more final exams scheduled on the same day) and request an alternate final exam time.
  *Rescheduling is at the instructor's discretion and is not guaranteed. 

• Last day of instruction.
• Last day to withdraw from course(s) for reasons beyond your control (5:00 p.m.). More information about withdrawals.
• End of Finals Week
  *Final exams during last class meeting

Deadline:

Last day to submit paperwork for Cal Poly coursework (substitutions, concentration declarations, ICS statements, etc.) and other transcripts (from other colleges) in order to affect the Academic Progress level for Spring 2028 registration (received in the Office of the Registrar by 5:00 p.m.)

• Degree Posting Process Begins. The actual degree conferral date is 8/11/27.
• All grades finalized
• (GPAs and repeat courses processed)

• Wailtlist process runs twice a day (noon and evening) to enroll students from waitlists if seats open up
